Step into The ROCK SHOP,
and learn how to play and perform
like a professional rock musician!
Come find out why Streetwise Music Instruction
was Rated Charlotte's BEST Rock School!
This program is the "next step" for students who have
taken private guitar lessons and other forms of music lessons
with Streetwise Music or other private music instructors and wish
to take their playing to a higher level!
Students learn the essentials of working with other musicians,
creating a set list, stage performance techniques,
improvisation, promoting their band, and more.
At the conclusion of each 10-week session,
students get to perform with their rock school band live, on stage,
at one of Charlotte's popular music venues such as:
Amos' Southend and the
Blumenthal Performing Arts Theaters!
We raised over $800 for
the Rock School Scholarship Fund
at our August 6, 2011, performance
at Tremont Music Hall!
